The retrieved data repeatedly references a construct identified only as “the Forest”, associated with endless branching decision trees and probabilistic outcomes.

This confirms the Sunken Cavern is not merely a transit space, but a monitoring point for Vex predictive systems, siphoning limited data from a far larger simulation engine.

With a Raise on the check, Ghost determines that the Forest is not on Nessus. Signal characteristics indicate the data originated from outside local spacetime, routed through the Well of Giants before being mirrored here. The node exists specifically to grant temporary, disposable access to a larger simulation environment—one the Vex consider too critical to expose directly.
